I can't say enough good things about Dr. Im! I'm impressed and so glad we found her after 3 other failed attempts with other pediatric dentists. She has a comforting disposition and is very accommodating.

Dr. Ellen was great with our 19 month old! We were greeted by her (first appointment in the morning on a SATURDAY) and she walked around the reception desk to greet our little one personally. She explained everything that was to be expected at a first check-up. I loved the way she examined our son with him in his Fathers lap and his head on a pillow on her lap. She let him examine her tools before she used them and play with her gloves. Perfect understanding of a toddlers needs. All of our questions and concerns were addressed. She even walked us out with stickers and a toy in hand! Highly recommend Dr. Ellen to anyone!
About Front Desk: Front staff was great. Scheduling was a breeze, even on a Saturday! Prior authorization was already taken care of so no questions about co-pays.

I chose Dr. Ellen Im for my four year old daughter's first dental checkup and cleaning. Aside from being conveniently located in my Fairlington neighborhood and taking Saturday appointments (hallelujah!), I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Im's gentle, easy way with children and how smoothly the whole experience went for both my daughter and myself. Dr. Im communicates with just the right tone, and gave me a ton of great information and suggestions to maintain and improve my daughter's oral hygiene. She left such a positive impression on my daughter than when we arrived for our second visit, three months after the first (to check if a small cavity was enlarging), my daughter leapt into Dr. Im's arms and opened her mouth wide to show her what a good job she'd been doing at home brushing her teeth.
Thanks to Dr. Im, we're off to a great start!

We have seen Dr. Im three times. My son had three cavities that needed attention. I have only great things to say about Dr. Im and her support staff. Not only did they take the time to describe procedures but listened to our concerns since the news of cavities was quite shocking to us. Dr. Im was very patient with my son who did not want to cooperate with treatment. She spent hours with us at two different appointments. She did not give up. She gave us time to work on motivating our son to participate while seeing other patients and was in the end successful with the treatment. My son was very happy in the end, and the experience overall was good for him.

We took our 3-year old son to see Dr. Ellen for his first ever dental exam. Our son hates visiting the doctor so we expected a very negative response from him. Dr. Ellen immediately put him at ease and went out of her way to examine him in a position and area of the office that was most comfortable for him. She was gentle, kind, nurturing and knowledgeable. An added bonus... she has Saturday hours!

6 year old who is afraid of the dentist had a frenectomy with no problem. The procedure went well and she was not afraid to return for a check-up. 8 year old son had cavities filled -- no pain or anxiety. Dr. Im is very caring and understanding. She really knows how to work with kids. It's so nice that her office accepts our insurance, so we don't have to pay out of pocket and then try to get reimbursed. So glad we found her. I would highly recommend her!

Frontal tooth wrap for 2yr old with cavities. Dr. Im is wonderful, kind and knowledgable. She is starting to develop a rapport with my very timid 2 year old and helping us tremendously with her dental care. We are very happy to have found her.

I have 2 kids that have seen Dr. Im. She is the 4th dentist we have seen due to various moves over the years and she is by far the best I have come across. My daughter is extremely afraid of the dentist and Dr. Im is patient, kind, friendly and encouraging. We have seen her 3 times for various needed dental work and she has been great with the kids every time. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Ellen Im treated our 4 year-old son for multiple cavities. We've had several visits to her office (the initial exam, the cleaning, pre-op and post-op check-ups) and I can honestly say she's been extremely professional, patient and friendly each time. Dr. Im did a great job during our son's dental surgery.
We have been so impressed with Dr. Im's professionalism and bedside manners (that are very important for a pediatric dentist!) that we've decided to bring out elder son to her for his routine exam and a cleaning. Based on our experience with this pediatric dentist I can comfortably trust her with dental health of my children.

I took my daughter to Dr. Im for her first dental visit and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Dr. Im has a great bedside manner, and took time to make my daughter comfortable before the exam, even pretending to examine my daughter's doll first. She answered all my questions and gave me suggestions for keeping my daughter's teeth healthy. Overall, I would rate her as excellent and highly recommend her for others.
