I've had fillings, cleanings and even an extraction and tooth implant with Dr. Davies. Everything he's ever done to my teeth has succeeded. You'll here no complaints from me in that department, however:
Payment options are extremely lacking. They only take a check. Period. We've had a lot of headaches when dealing with paying portions of large balances due. It seems there's only one person in the office who knows what she is doing in this regard. If she's not there when you call, you're out of luck.

I have been seeing Dr Davies since I was in college. Fortunately, I have only needed one crown and a few fillings since then, but I have always been very happy with his work. I have never suspected him of trying to do unnecessary work. I would recommend him without reservation, except that he charges more than my insurance will pay. I'm more than happy to pay the difference, but if you are very cost sensitive, you might check around first.

My nephew had not seen a dentist for the four years he was in college. If you show my nephew a needle, he faints. Needless to say, his anxiety level was high, even though I reassured my nephew that Dr. Davies is the best dentist in town. Dr. Davies arranged to treat my nephew on the Fourth of July - when no other patients were around, and the dentist could take as much time as the patient needed. I stayed with my nephew the whole time. Dr. Davies was gentle, respectful and appropriate. Dr. Davies was so good at treating my nephew that my nephew no longer fears dentists.
Once I needed emergency root canal, and Dr. Davies called an endodontist, and got me in the next day. These two events show that Dr. Davies goes the extra distance in providing service to his patients. A fellow patient insists Dr. Davies is the best dentist in the USA.

My family and I have gone to Dr. Davies for 20 years. His work is perfection! He is passionate about his work and compassionate about his patients and their needs. His "bedside" manner is warm, friendly and relaxed. He's a first-rate scientist and doctor. Although his prices are expensive and he's not on many dental insurance programs, he's worth every cent.
