I’d be careful of this dentist. I had a filling fall out and needed it replaced. Dr Root took X-rays and proceeded to do a partial root canal without even telling me. When I went home from Austin (I am in college) and told my family dentist what happened, he ordered the X-rays from Dr. Root to figure out why I needed such an invasive procedure, when my family dentist knew my teeth and their overall health. Weird…Dr Root lost my X-rays. I had to have a full root canal on my healthy tooth because this guy needed to practice. I have been traumatized since this experience and this guy is the reason. Very dishonest. Bad Karma.

Dr. Root and his staff are the best. Very nice, centrally located, and they make it quick and easy to get anything done.

Gotta love the name. Dr. Root has been my dentist for over 16 years now. If you're not too keen on some of the larger dentist offices, this is the place. Its not a fancy place but its nice. Definitely small town feel to it. His staff are always very friendly and his receptionist and dental hygienist always greet me by name and ask about my family. Dr Root is also very friendly. I have never had any complaints about the work he has done on my teeth.

Dr. Root has been my dentist for more than 15 years. He has a great staff, is very friendly, and I think quite affordable. I think he is exceptional in that he never recommends unnecessary procedures; if he tells you need it, you do. Great dentist and very trustworthy. I would not recommend him for a person needing specialty dental service, he does general dentistry only. But he will tell you what you need and refer to a specialist if it is not a procedure that he performs.
