My husband and I agree that Dr. Steinberg is the best dentist we have ever had. He was recommended to us by three unrelated sources. We wish we had heeded they're recommendations sooner! It is apparent how much Dr. Steinberg is concerned about your oral health and appearance when he and his staff listen to and discuss your dental needs and concerns. His dental exams are more thorough and informative than any we have experienced at other dentists. Dr. Steinberg explains in detail what needs to be done to establish and preserve good oral health, and why he recommends different dental procedures. We trust Dr. Steinberg because we believe his technical knowledge and ability within the dental field surpasses any other dentist we have ever had. He has explained and solved dental problems we had lived with for years, and thought were not fixable. He does not perform unnecessary procedures, and takes extra steps to assure that his dental procedures are pain free

We've been going to Dr Steinberg for years. He is the most gentle and tender dentist ever. I've had minimal discomfort. Also, he has a strong aesthetic and has improved all of our smiles dramatically. I wish I went to him my whole life. Pricey, but well worth it for us. Some of the hygenists are better than others. But they are the best I've had. But Dr. Steinberg rocks!

I used to see Dr. Steinberg 10 years ago. I really liked him and was disappointed to have to move to another city and find a new dentist. I was thrilled to move back to the Austin area and start going back to his office. I have been going to his office for the past 6 years and have been very happy with the treatment and service that I have received. I have not had to have any work done in 6 years except for this past time, so I don't feel that he has tried to schedule unnecessary treatments just to make a buck like some dentists do.

My visit with Dr. Steinberg was unpleasant for several reasons. He was condescending and snobbish to me and made me feel uncomfortable for writing down that I had anxiety at the dentist office. His dental hygienist laughed at my bite problem when I showed it to her. Also, the price quoted to me was 25% higher than my last dentist. But I decided that since I had only seen him the one time, I would give it another shot, I scheduled another appointment for the actual work. The day before my appointment, a family member suddenly died. I had already confirmed my appointment with the dentist but I called in the morning to cancel the appointment since I was nowhere near feeling up to having dental work done on me. I explained the situation to the receptionist and she told me that I would have to pay a $50 charge for the missed appointment. I asked her if she could please wave it since it was a terrible circumstance and she said no in a very unpleasant way. So a few days later, I received a bill for a $100. They charged me $50 per hour for the missed appointment. I will never recommend Dr. Steinberg or his staff because of their snobbish money swindling ways.
