Stay away from this guy. This guy inherited Dr. Louis Cannatti's practice and butchered it. Extremely expensive. His cost went from 800 bucks to 2500, and that did not even complete the required work. Dr. Cannatti was a saint in my eyes, and this Wellik guy ( I refuse to call him a Dr.) must be a terrible disappointment to him. I have found a new dentist and am quite pleased.

Dr. Welllik has always done outstanding work on my teeth (front veneers, crowns, root canals, and bridge work), and I've never experienced any discomfort or pain while in his care. I have always found Dr. Wellik to be very friendly, personable, and truly concerned about my dental health.
My only negative comment above is that his rates are among the highest in the area, which means my dental benefits run out faster and I'm into my own pocket for copayments sooner than with other dentists. For example, I received a quote for a crown procedure from another dentist that was fully 33% lower than what Dr. Wellik charges, so I may be changing dentists only because of rates, not because of the professional care and treatments I have received over the years.
About Hygienist: I've always had great treatments by Dr. Wellik's hygienists. No complaints at all.

Dr. Wellik and his staff are truley the best I have experienced in a long time. Since moving to Austin 7 years ago, I was under the care of a certain dental group, the supercuts of dentistry. I won't say the name but here's a hint :(Only God is Omni present) Hope you figure that out...if you do ...run from them as fast as you can!!! Every 6 month visit was with another dentist, usually from a foriegn country (not a problem for me), but the results were different each time. Sometime good sometimes horrible.
I came to Dr. Wellik out of desperation...I had to have a tooth pulled because of a broken root and the group dentist never gave me antibiotics even after the sceond vist, where dry socket was forming. I am now in a lot of pain. Dr. Wellik saw me and even called me at night to be sure i was OK...he is my new dentist. Great clean facility, friendly staff, know's his stuff!! Not like the less than clean office i had to get my tooth pulled from...perhaps my own fault. Always go with your gut feelings...learned that the hard way now.

When I first went to Dr. Wellik I had had some very poor work done which caused additional problems and was considering suing the dentist. To his credit Dr. Wellik was agreeable to testifying if it came to that (but I dropped the whole thing). Nonetheless, he saw the problem and rather than side with his professional peer he was willing to do what was right and go out on a limb. I think that speaks to his integrity.
I find him very conscientious and pleasant. Plus he has done volunteer work at city clinics which is commendable.

I did not like my experience with Dr. Wellk he was abrasive and i couldn't help but feel like he was rushing em out of his office, also his prices are very high for regular dental exams.

Dr. Welleck is a true doctor. He not only takes great care of my teeth but goes the extra step in preventative care. His staff is super friendly and their office is centerly located.

All my family is very satisfied with Dr.Wellik. He has removed all my wisdom teeth, and everything went fine. He is very helpful and cares about his patients. He takes Delta insurance. They have an excellent dental hygienist, and the receptionist. I would highly recommend Dr.Wellik to anyboby.

Dr. Wellik is definitely one of the best denists in Texas. He cares about his paitents and makes sure the experience is comfortable. Thanks!!!

After going through a few "butchers", I was happy to meet Dr. Wellik. Now all of my family treats with him and are very satisfied at his competence.
I appreciate very much that he's also very careful about the professionals he refers his patients to.

I love Dr. Wellik and Dr. Cannatti, too! they are both great and I've been going to them since i was a kid:)
