Dr. Hickerson is a gentle and caring dentist. My family has been seeing him for over 10 years, and we will never change dentists. He pulled out my daughters tooth without any drama or crying. He gave my husband his very first filling without any stress. He worked on my bite guard until it was perfect - no sloppy work or short cuts.

About Front Desk: The from desk staff are super polite and efficient. They never miss a beat, file all of our insurance paperwork, and answer questions quickly.

About Hygienist: His dental assistants are spectacular. My husband and my kids aren't afraid to get their teeth cleaned! Sweet and caring - we are so pleased with Donna, who we normally see, although they are all awesome.

A patient for 32 years. As you can see from his reviews, Dr. Hickersons patients tend to stay with him. Part of this is skill and quality of work. The other is his kind and friendly demeanor and ability to put people at ease. He also manages to keep wonderful and skillful staff. His oral hygienist has been with him as long as I have!! And she is also terrific!! I drive across town to see him now and would never think of changing dentists. Ever.

I've been going to Dr Hickerson since my wife first used him at his old Downtown office in the late 80's. After she told me he was great, I had to try him out. Well I've now followed him through his move to Augusta Dr and now to his office at Chimney Rock and Woodway. He is very knowledgeable, has a great relationship with all his patients (from what I've seen and heard in my many visits), and his staff is very friendly and competent. This doesn't really put it in perspective, but how do you gush about a dentist? He does great work, I always feel comfortable in his office, and the whole staff works to minimize any pain and discomfort. Each chair has a TV if you want to keep your mind off what is going on, and if you want to check out the newest dental goodies on the market, they just might have some trial sizes so you can check them out for free. Hickerson is the best and I actually hate to say this because that will just get him more customers. I want him to myself!!

About Front Desk: Always friendly when I talk with them. Usually Donna (hygienist) makes all of my appointments so I rarely work with the Front Desk Staff. But they are great when I do.

About Hygienist: Donna has been my hygienist since I started going to Hickerson and she always will be. Besides being a great person all the way around, she does the best cleanings I've ever had. Very positive attitude even on her bad days, who doesn't have those on occasion, and she never hurts me during the cleaning. Well, almost never, and the few times have been nothing at all. I mean, if someone is digging around in your mouth looking for stuff to pull out of nooks and crannies, you're gonna get stuck every once in a great while. Any other hygenist I used before Donna, got a rise out of me in the chair LOTS of TIMES! I'm sure Hickerson's other hygenists are also great, but Donna is the only one that digs around in my mouth.

He's compassionate, caring and honest. He will give you whatever you need to help you with anxiety and pain - the best in Houston!

About Hygienist: Donna is also the best in Houston. She's thorough but gentle - love her!

Dr. Hickerson is remarkable, he is very meticulous in his work. He made my upper and lower partial dentures for me and they fit and look great. He is excellent in his craft, listens and is very caring. I have had other work done by him in the past, he gives painless injections, I don't know how?, but I never feel them..... I personally would not go to anyone else for my dental needs.

Dr. Hickerson is one of the best dentists I have been to. He did my crown on one of my front teeth and did an excellent job. His chair side manner is excellent and I would recommend him to anyone!

Had veneers placed for top 6 teeth. Have had them for over 4 years and they look outstanding, but still realistic. Dr. Hickerson's office worked out a great installment plan for payments. Office staff always friendly, cheerful, and efficient.
