AKA Dental Associates of Texas . . . Had a teeth cleaning, root canal and crown procedure. All of the visits were perfect. Dr Matt and her staff are fanatical with all aspects of professional dentistry. Definitely recommend..

About Hygienist: Very thorough and my teeth are cleaned and polished, stains removed. One of the best I have gone to for cleaning.

Dr. Matt has taken care of my dental needs for 7 years. When my husband was living she was able to give him what our previous dentist had told us was impossible. I had an implant placed by Dr Matt over 5 years ago and have had no problems ever! I see her every 3 months to help me keep my teeth. I am 80 yrs old and I feel she has giving me the ability to keep my teeth for the rest of my life. Her staff is wonderful at explaining and reviewing charges with me so I understand what I am getting before the services are completed. I tell everyone who my dentist is. Thanks Dr Matt for being my dentist

About Front Desk: Lisa is so sweet and patient with me. friendly on the phone and helps me schedule all my appts. while considering my schedule.

About Hygienist: Love the hygienist. I never wait for an extended period of time. If I do have a wait Lisa will explain to me what is going on and usually it is because she is taking care of another patient just like they do when I am in her chair. No pain, always feel clean and never feel rushed out.

Every cleaning she found something to expensively fix, even though I was in no pain. Incompetent staff knew nothing about insurance. You're on your own there. Overpriced crowns, bleaching. Crowns hurt and were sensitive to cold for many months. They charged $7/visit for 25 cents worth of rubber gloves, and I always had to argue with them to not do an unnecessary and non-insurance covered gum measurement. Also had to argue with them to put in less expensive crowns. They wanted me to spend hundreds more of my own money to have a crown that didn't show at the gum line on a rear tooth nobody would ever see. She bleached my front teeth, then let her hygienist pick the color for a new filling afterword, which didn't match the color. She let her hygienist do way too much of the work. She needed x-rays on every visit, and wasn't concerned when my insurance wouldn't pay for them. She charged me $90 to test for cancer when I had minor Thrush from asthma meds, which she should've known about. I always felt ripped off, or that I was paying for her expensive overhead in the building she was in. Overall, the worst dentist I've had in my 60 years, and I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

About Front Desk: They always made me pay for too many things up front without having a clue what my insurance would pay, so I always had a credit balance. I always had to have them resubmit correct information to get my insurance to pay for things. Pathetic.

Dr. Matt is excellent.....but after the initial appt. (when the bill was paid) I never got to see her...Just a handful of students. It took 5 trips to get a crown right and it now feels like the whole root canal is coming out!! Her prices are higher than any other dentist or orthopedic specialist I've ever seen, yet I feel like I could have gotten the same care and work done at the college for a FRACTION of the price. Overall......I'm VERY disappointed and not only will I never go back to her but I will NEVER send anyone else to her.

My son's crown prep was done during Spring Break and it is now July and we are still waiting. I've called the office multiple times to get an update but I've received excuses from production delay due to recession and delivery issues. The office also claims that there are customers waiting since December and that I've only been waiting since March.

About Hygienist: I give Sindy a 5 out of 5. I'm looking for another dentist but wish I can continue to see Sindy as my hygienist.

I've been seeing Dr. Matt for a long time. I had implants done and a number of crowns. There was no pain and I'm finally able to eat again.

About Hygienist: Sindy is wonderful. She explains things throughly and my teeth feel great when she's done.

horrible service.. took 2 hours and didnt even get my teeth cleaned just had a consultation. It was such a waste of time

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Matt. I had four wisdom teeth removed and I feel great. Her staff was fantastic. I have become a life long patient. Thanks again!

Dr. Matt is very pleasant and very friendly and knows a lot about dentistry. I have only visited her and haven't really gotten a second opinion but she seems to find a lot of cavities. Also, she leaves a huge gap between teeth when she puts in fillings and I don't like that because it seems to make me have to use a tooth pick or floss every time I eat. Her staff is very friendly too, but there always seems to be different people there.

About Hygienist: There always seems to be different hygienists at Dr. Matt's office. I have gone in for three cleanings and there has been a different hygienist every time. They have all been nice though, and all like to talk.

She is very knowledgeable about many facets of dentistry. The cost seems to be reasonable. The facilities are very good: DVD players in every room for customized movie/music choices, good window views. She is very nice (the secretary is also nice). Dr Matt likes to talk. A regular bi-yearly checkup has taken me close to 2 hrs for cleaning and xrays, including the 20 minutes that I was EARLY for the appointment. I have had multiple instances where fillings have fallen out. The first time I thought it was okay, the second a little annoying, but now that it has happened about 4 times, I am tired of the repeated office visits and additional office charges. I am very particular with my teeth and decided to go to a different dentist.

About Hygienist: There is a new hygienist almost every time that I go, which usually means that they are slow since they are getting used to the office organization.
