I have been going to Dr. Vickers for around 30 years. I am very particular about my doctors and I would never consider any other dentist. Dr. vickers and his staff care for his patients and treat them with the utmost care and consideration.

About Front Desk: Very friendly and always helpful about scheduling the next appointment.

My wife and I have been Dr. Vickers patients since he started his own practice. He was able to correct all the damage done by Army dentist, and the VA. I now love to smile. I had to prove I was a senior, this last winter, to get a discount on a ski lift ticket. I will be 70 in July. He has always taken a personal interest in our dental health. He knows we are on a fixed income, and goes out of his way to keep cost down. We have moved away from the area of his office, but I would drive hundreds of miles to continue with his services. We intend to be his patients for the rest of our lives.

About Front Desk: Many changes over the years, but no problems. One new person on the last visit. She was very nice, and seems confident. We usually do our business with Stephanie, who has always been wonderful to us. They make sure that we are following the procedures required by insurance. On things that were not covered, they worked with us.

About Hygienist: We have had many different Hygienist over the years. There was one who was a little rough, about 8 years ago, but they let her go. The rest have all been good. We really liked the new one, but do not remember her name. I will learn it.

iI had a horrible experience with a root canal that went very bad.i notices his hands were shanking,he forgot to set the timer twice, the water needed for this ran out and I had to set there until it was fixed.Shortly after I had developed an infection, when I called back and office manger told me not to call back with no explanation !I went to another dentist because of X R showed 1 file in my sinus cavity and possible one in the root its self.I have been fiends with his wife for a long time she wanted to barter a $5,000 pair of earrings with payments to follow.I did not understand why they would not take my calls....but I now I do not have any insurance and the I most likely will have to indur the cost of all of the reconstructive work that will done by him .Dr.Vicker did not inform me of just how bad his work had turned out but he had the X-ray he knew he just did not want me to know!I had to report him to the medical board I hope he doesn't get the chance to hurt someone else as bad as he did to me! At lease give me my earrings the lowest estimate starts at 16.000 and may go much higher and his can help with the cost of damages he caused. He also violated my Hippa rights and laws!

I would never go back to this dentist ! He did incomplete work and caused several thousands of dollars of work that needs to be completed because of his incompetence,I have had three infections and when I tried to call him his office manager told my not to call back dismissing me in the middle of treatment.I turned him into the medical board. He and his office was incompetent and did not finish the work he started yet did not give my money back but what was the most appalling He did not care about my oral health at all.Never go to dr Stephen vickers.

About Front Desk: The office manager told me she was going to fire her but it seems she fits in to this horrible office just fine.

About Hygienist: So bad I did not ever know what to say, except don't go there!0

I would never go back to dr. Vickers! Dr. Vickers did a root canal that went very bad,I had very bad infections and when I called the office I was told not to call back . violations of Hippa patient abandonment . I was treated horribly by the doctor and his staff was incompetent and deceiving about what need to be done,Dr. vickers caused several thousand dollars in damages . I had to report him to the medical board.

About Front Desk: I was a friend of the Dr. wife that friendship has been resolved,we are no longer friends.

I came to Dr Vickors completely freaked out about dentists because of past experiences with other dentists. He gets things done right. He does all my dental work from cleanings to fillings. I moved a few years ago and still make the 80 mile drive to see him.

DO NOT use this dentist. This office was very deceptive about the charges. The "office manager/wife" told me that they took my insurance and that it should be covered. Once my exam was done only then did she explain that they were out of network and charged me the entire cost of the exam. It is my guess that our insurance company has no desire to work with this practice due to the their unprofessional and unethical work practices that I experienced. Do yourself a favor and find a dentist that not only gives good care but cares about his patients. This is NOT this dental practice.

I have gone to Dr. Vickers for around 10 years. God has blessed me with a good set of teeth - I am 45 and have all 32 teeth in great condition. During my stay with Dr. Vickers he convinced me to remove a silver filling and replace it with the white composite filings - this tooth was not giving me any issues. Needless to say once he removed the silver filing he decided I needed a root canal - which was painful. It took longer than expected and the numbing medicine began to wear off - OUCH!!! It took two visits to finally complete the root canal. Dr. Vickers would recommend filings for cavities, many of which I could not see on the x-ray, but he would tell me "they are on the inside of your teeth". Which may be true, but how would I know? After a visit with Dr. Vickers and a recommendation of needing to get three cavaties filled, I decided to get a second opinion from the #1 rated dentist on Dr. Oogle (I figured why not start with the best). I was given a totally different second opinion prognosis, the cavities Dr. Vickers recommended were non-existent. Shame on you Dr. Vickers!!!! Needless to say, Dr Vickers will never see me or my money again.
