I have seen both Dr. Ed and Dr. Mike. Dr. Ed is now retired. I have all of my 6 mos check up, occasional replacement of old filling; crown on my front upper tooth (beautiful job); my husband had his bridge done there and was happy with it. My husband also had all of 6 mos check ups. Dr. Mike has a very light touch, is extremely gentle, has an excellent 'chair side manner,' great staff, nice, very pleasant waiting area, very clean exam rooms. I have recommended Dr. Mike Wong to many people over the years. Everyone who has gone to him has been pleased.

About Front Desk: The front desk staff is great. They send you reminders of your appointments; if there are cancellations contact you to see if you want to come in sooner, help with insurance issues. Generally a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere.

About Hygienist: Kathleen, the dental hygienist, is very good, very thorough. She has a gentle touch. She gives a great report to Dr. Mike on what she has noted as she cleans.

I had saw Dr Michael Wong because I had a severely infected and cracked tooth. He said everything was "OK". When I went home another piece of the tooth broke off and the smell was terrible. When I called back and explained what happened, the person at the front desk was rude and said I could not get back in for at least 30 days.

About Front Desk: Very Rude. Would not consider a cracked and infected tooth a medical emergency.

I have gone to Dr. Wong for many years and he is always pleasant, gentle and listens to my questions/concerns. I appreciate his willingness to discuss options and have been pleased with the care he provides.

About Hygienist: Very gentle and thorough. Good experience

Great dentist, patient-friendly attitude. Entire staff is very efficient, friendly & makes patients feel like family. The caring of senior patients is over the top. Kathleen is a wonderful hygienist. Never feel rushed in this office. Convenient central location with front door parking [sometimes under a shady tree]. I enjoy looking out wall of windows while in the "chair".

Michael Wong is terrific. Caring, attentive, and excellent at what he does. I never feel as if he performs any procedures unnecessarily. He is now taking care of my grown children!

About Hygienist: She is as terrific as Michael -- they are a great team!

The Wong team is the best team. Father & son family practice. i've been there for both and won't go anywhere else. 4star!

As patient [along with siblings] for many years, Drs. Edward & Michael Wong offer professional dentistry services in a relaxing friendly office enviornment. The entire staff makes each patient feel as though they are a special family member. Procedure costs are very reasonable. Also, office location is very conveniently located on the Katy Frwy feeder between Durham/Shepherd & T.C. Jester near the "restraunt strip" on Shepherd at I-10. I highly recommend The Drs. Wong to anyone searching for a Dentist.

About Hygienist: Kathleen is a super hygienist with a friendly relaxing chair-side manner & gentle/thorough with the dental floss. She always has a big smile for everyone.

Talked me into dental appliance called Valplast. Could not make them fit me comfortably. I visited to have refits 3 times. Thousands of dollars later, teeth still hurt so bad I cannot wear them. Normally, dentist calls to remind you that it is time for a cleaning. Not a peep from this guy.

About Hygienist: They discussed people they knew while cleaning and extracting. I heard more gossip there than on THE VIEW!

I have always had painful filling work in the past to the point that I avoided even going at all. Dr. Wong has changed my perception of dental work and his kindness and great staff is like visiting family. He and his father (now retired) came highly recommended from family members. Now I have several friends going to him as well and I too highly recommend him.

About Hygienist: Always an easy visit, the hygienist has been very gentle and taken care of all that nasty tartar.
