broke a tooth went to Southtown dental because of hours. the doctor who did root canal left the practice shortly after completed. when went for crown fitting dr. guillotines made the comment to the assistant "are you serious" don't know what he was talking about. proceeded with crown... two years of pain and complaining that there was severe pain. pain was so bad my jaw was throbbing, girl at the office told me that the computers were down and I would have to wait until the next day. office manager called back with a prescription and a referral for endodonist. endodonist took one look at x-Ray and showed where the infection was raging in the tooth and jaw bone. stupidly went back for a crown, so ill fitting that it is not real. I now have to get this crown (that was supposed to be perfect) replaced. finally wised up and went with another dentist.

Best dentist in the world! Extremely sensitive to the patient's needs, very gentle when working on your teeth and has a high awareness when he senses you may be in the slightest bit of pain. Makes sure you are comfortable. This man is caring, considerate, and by far the best dentist. The music is soft and soothing and suited to reflect his genuine, caring, christian way. He is a blessing to San Antonio

About Hygienist: WOW! the greatest cleaning ever. I took my husband and he said he never had such a detailed and extensive cleaning. He and I are impressed by her skill and passion to care for the patient. Gentle experience.

Great, honest dentist. Most honest dentist I've ever had, and I've had many! Doesn't do major procedures until he's determined he really knows what's going on. Takes a medical approach to determining if infection (for possible root canal) is present before proceeding. Not trying to run up your bill or fill your mouth with metal or porcelain. Personally guarantees his crowns, and offered to replace one new one I'm having trouble with free of charge.

Dr. Guillory is the best dentist I've been to. He is gentle and works quickly. His staff is also very accomodating, helpful and friendly. I wouldn't say his office is like a health spa--it's actually an old, converted house, but has a comfy feel. I had some problems with a crown Dr. Guillory placed (it broke twice) but it turned out it was the lab he used. He was very apologetic about the problems, never charged me a cent for any of the follow up, and once he changed labs, I never had any further problems. I'd recommend him wholeheartedly.

About Hygienist: I am sorry I cannot remember her full name; Luz I believe is her first name. She is teriffic! She is thorough, gentle and pleasant. She even cleaned my 7 year old daughter's teeth and watching her with my daughter I was struck at how very kind she was to a little kid. This is a great office.

The staff is very professional and friendly. I love the family atmosphere. Dr. Guillory makes you feel comfortable and at home.
