Dr. K is competent, however he does not follow through with call back, rescheduling, etc., as he promises. It is a shame, and I understand that there have been some health issues. However, I would personally prefer to be told that he can't see me, as opposed to promising I will be called the next day over and over again without ever hearing anything. My initial appt for xrays was two months ago - immediate attention was needed and he was going to call me the next day to discuss. After calling his office several times and being told I would get a call back the NEXT DAY - no response. Am transferring to new dentist only to be told that Dr. K's computers are down, and they cannot send the digital x-rays that I paid for to the new dentist. What a mess
About Front Desk: Very disappointed with office organization and lack of follow up. Very happy to get you in there as a new patient, then basically dropped after insisting that you need "immediate" attention. A shame that things have gone downhill.

Dr. Kalmus is very thorough and a caring person. You will find the latest technology and approaches to ensure comprehensive exams. He takes a long term approach to your dental health to ensure you will have your teeth later in life. When he visits with you, you feel like you are the only patient in the office. It had been years since I had found a dentist I was comfortable with. His office staff is friendly and give me all the reminders I need to make sure my dental health stays on track. I would recommend him to anyone I meet. The other thing I like is that I don't have to see some other specialist since he has been able to handle all of my dental needs. This saves me time and money. I'm not an easy patient because of the lack of good dental care when I was a child and he hasn't shyed away from my high maintenance dental care.
