Dr. Vakay completely changed my smile and gave me a much more polished look by adding bonding to a few of my teeth. Her artistic touch is amazing and her work has helped my confidence in my career as a TV personality. She is incredibly sweet and cares so much about her patients. Dr. Vakay is skilled, talented, and the best at chat she does. Whether it's cosmetic dentistry or a simple procedure, she is the one to see!

I was interested in getting Veneers and after some research decided to visit Dr. Vakay for a consultation. Both Dr. Vakay and her staff were very friendly, informative and competent. I decided to go ahead and pay for an initial mold of the 4 front teeth I was interested in getting veneers for. I was interested in scheduling another visit to get the veneers but at the time I couldn't afford the price. After waiting about a year, around September 2010 I came back to go forward with the procedure. To my surprise, I was told that Dr. Vakay no longer practiced there and that the new Dentist was Dr. Ana Arango. In the end it all worked out. While still expensive, my discount request was granted which allowed the procedure to go forward. The cosmetic procedure was done well and I was happy with the results.
Since then I've also visited to for regular cleaning and exam. The problem is the unreasonably high price. I was charged $195 for a regular cleaning and a brief visit by the dentist August 2011. Given I don't have dental insurance, this is problem for me. I've had to refuse dental x-rays because I simply can't afford them.

Dr. Vakay repaired a pretty severe chip in my front left tooth after a fall. She was very engaging and appeared knowlegeable, explaining to me what she was doing and exactly why she was doing it. My front left tooth overlaps the front right tooth, which she speculated may have been a cause of the breakage due to stress from impacts over time. I was also due for a cleaning and found out that I needed a peridontal cleaning, which I'll discuss below. My only problem with Dr. Vakay is the cost (very exensive for my experiences), which is why I probalby will not return.
About Hygienist: The hygienist was great. Very engaging and as gentle as someone could be during a peridontal cleaning. They did it in phases broken down into quadrants for my comfort. Unfortunately, that particular hygenist was moving somewhere else and is no longer at that office to my knowledge.

Dr. Vakay is amazing. My smile is beautiful thanks to all of her hard work. She has a wonderful sense of humor and makes you feel at ease. I now have my son going to her too!!

Dr. Vakay and her staff are excellent. They are always current on the latest dental technologies, such as laser and this oral cancer detecting light that they use. I like the computerized x-rays, too. They always go the extra mile, so I do not mind paying for the best.

I had cosmetic dentistry as well as regular dentistry. I've had a zillion complements on my smile. No one seems to notice that it was my teeth that were fixed! Great staff. Everyone is very friendly, efficient, fun, and helpful. I highly recommend!!

the care is outstanding Dr. Vakay and her staff make you feel very cared for and they are always there for you when you need them. The dentistry is outstanding the qualilty is the best I've ever had. I strongly recomend this practice to all my friends and family.

Dr. Rena Vakay is the best dentist I have ever used and I have live all over the country. She is a perfectionist. Her staff, especially Kimberly and Susie, are also top notch. I have recommended several people to her including my husband who is also thrilled with her work. Dr. Vakay ahs performed miracles on his teeth.
No pain, no hassle with insurance - eveything about the practice is a 10.
