Great doctor! He is knowledgeable and kind. Always fixes the problem and gives very fair prices. Friendly staff! Love the upgrades!

About Front Desk: Good receptionist! Friendly and overly helpful. Knows her insurances and takes time to explain benefits. Goes extra mile.

I actually love Dr Salyer and am extremely sad to go! However due to unorganization and rudeness of the frontdesk I have now pulled myself and 3 children out of there!

About Front Desk: They suck! They are extremely rude! And it took me almost 5 months to get my child's xrays sent to a new dentisit! They are very disorganized and my last straw with them was telling me my son had not been to their office for a cleaning in a year! When in fact he goes with my other children every 6 months, I ventured out to a new dentist and request all records to be sent in April, they were not and I've called numerous times and was told they were being sent, end result was, we go for an appt at the new dentist in late Aug to find out xrays had not been sent and I spent an hr or more trying to get them sent via email while I'm at the new dental office! You would not believe how I was talked to by 2 different staff members! Yes i was upset and aggravated, but hey, who wouldnt have been! I never cursed or raised my voice and did not deserve the treatmemt i received. I had to finally call my child's orthodontist and get him to send the xrays! I feel bad for Dr Salyer bc he is not aware of how his staff has treated me and I'm sure other patients as well, but I feel this review is necessary to inform others!

About Hygienist: Can't rate the hygienist bc there is a new one every time we go for a 6 month cleaning as well as new office staff!

Dr. Salyer was my childhood dentist all the way up until my young adult hood. I have had fillings. teeth extractions, cleanings, among other standard routines performed by him. I have had no issues with the office until most recently after comparing him to another local dental office. The experience was completely different. My new office actually takes the time to explain procedures and ways to prevent certain situations. They prepare me upfront for all costs and what to expect prior to visits and the technology and service level are above my expectations. Dr Salyer was the only dentist I knew and had I not been forced to visit another office I would not have known any better. I would not be recommending Dr. Salyer to anyone else unfortunately.

About Hygienist: The level of service I have received most recently is very upsetting and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The front office staff are very rude and condescending and not welcoming at all.

I went to him to have a crown replaced and a bridge for a tooth I had lost. It took more than a year to complete the work. I do not know where he ordered the bridge work and crown, but it took several weeks on each of four occasions. But the primary cause of my waiting a year was that he only works Monday through Thursday. And, he is usually sick or has an emergency on Thursday. Once his receptionist reported that he had food poisoning. Another time he came down with some unknown desease. Today, the excuse was that he had a family member who died. Yeah right! It is really convenient that all his miseries happen on the last day of his work week so that he can take a long weekend. His staff do not call until a couple of hours before the appoint to let me know it is cancelled. I have lost several hours sick leave because I took time off to go to his office for an appointment only to have them cancel it at the last minute. The reason I was going to see him today was because the crown came off the second time in 6 months. If I had not paid him up front, I would have quit him a year ago. This has been a nightmare!!

What I like the most is his friendly, "community", down to earth dental practice. He has no pretense....He is truthful and gives options for treatment. I trust him. I refer him to my family and friends. His prices are within the normal for the area and for his experience as a Dentist for over 30 years. He is very certain on his treatment and doesn't "over option" like so many other dentist do. I trust him. I refer him.

The front desk staff was great! I was very pleased and Dr. Salyer explained in great detail of the treatment I needed.

great, no pain, easy paying arrangements, front desk very helpful, chair side manners and hygienists were very friendly

While the staff is somewhat nice, Dr. Salyer is rather rude. Doesn't speak to the patients, not even the kids. May just be my insurance, but the costs seem to pretty expensive compared to other dentists.
