Dr. Seigel never showed up one appointment. Worse, his office said I owed a $580 co-pay for a crown done on October 28, 2009. Although I questioned the amount because I was a member of Aetna Dental DMO Plan which has low co-pays, I paid the fee. Later, when I was going through Open Enrollment in August 2010, I learned my maximum co-pay should have been $180. Aetna representatives confirmed my co-pay should have been $180 and interceded on my behalf to call Seigel's office. After much wrangling, I received a $350 refund instead of a $400 refund. His office claimed there was a $50 fee witheld for lab work. Now Seigel claims there was a $70 fee for a Core build instead of the $50 , and I owe him $20! I reported him to the Better Business Bureau and consider him unethical.

Dr. Seigel paid little attention to the dental concerns I brought up and the long run prevention questions I asked for his opinion on, brushing me off with a generic answer of 'you don't have to worry, its no big deal'. I felt as if he wrote off my entire cleaning and check up by rushing a quick brush over my teeth, and telling me I was done and simply 'ok', for a check up that lasted no longer than 2.5 min and left me absolutely unconvinced that he really even took the time to analyze the condition of my mouth and potential issues I was obviously concerned about.

I had several crowns done by Dr. Seigel. I am not pleased with hs work at all. After several attempts to have him correct a painful crown that irritates my gum, I've given up and plan on finding a new dentist. I called the emergency after hours number on 2 seperate occasions b/c I was swollen and in pain, only to find out that Dr. Seigel was out of town and his partner would not even write me a perscription or see me b/c I was Dr. Seigel's patient. His chair-side manner is decent, but does not make up for all the crap that I've had to deal with as his patient. Very unsatisfied patient.

We had a bad experience with them too. My husband walked out of the waiting room after an almost hour wait. I stayed and got all of a 2 minute exam. Even the cleaning was not very thorough. We never went back.

I recently moved to the area and so picked Seigel & Moeller rather randomly, which was a major mistake. The horrible woman receptionist should have been my first clue: she actually hung up on me the first time I called to make an appointment! I persevered, and finally got in to see Dr. Seigel for some pain I was having (after the receptionist implied that I was lying to her about it). When I tried to speak to him about the rude treatment I received, he wouldn't even talk to me. He barely spent any time with me and didn't even sit my chair up to speak to me, so that I was left staring up at him while he told me he didn't see anything in my teeth (a two minute exam after a 45 minute wait.) I thought the head receptionist's outright rudeness was an exception; it turns out she was indicative of the entire office and the overall experience.
