Be sure to know what medications you can and cannot take. This office was ready to prescribe an antibiotic that I am allergic to. The Doctor felt that this was better for me than the one antibiotic that I can take. Amazing that they could not consult the chart. Very wishy washy on procedures and how they perform them. After 2 months of waiting for approval, because I would not take the antibiotic that they wanted me to take the I was allergic to, they dropped me and told me I need to go to a hospital to have my teeth extracted. Be VERY aware of what antibiotics you can take. Be prepared to do what the doctors wants regardless of the medications that he feels will do the job.

About Front Desk: Very inattentive, communication skills nonexistent. Rude, do not communicate with doctor. Told three different office staff I was very hard of hearing. When I kept asking the doctor to repeat himself he took an attitude. When I explained to him I was deaf, he reply was that I should have told someone. Communication very poor between doctors and staff.

The staff was inattentive at their job. The cost is fucking ridiculous because they could have warned me that they were planning to fuck me over with the bill once the extraction was done. I would highly recommend this surgeon to someone who i utterly HATE and is wanting to get fucked paying for something they weren't told about in the first place.

About Front Desk: they said I had to pay a deductible of 20 percent to the overall cost which I was completely okay with. That SAME day they ran my insurance and said I was still covered for the other portion. Well a couple months later I receive a bill for the procedure. If they ran my insurance that same day, why are they expecting me to pay. I wouldn't have gotten my god damn teeth removed had I known I had to pay. This is fucking absurd, do your job.

My Experience: Extraction

Most of us that live in the area either recommend her or have extensive dental treatment done! Yeah Dr. Finegold!

I was very impressed on how quickly my extraction took. However, I am VERY disappointed in the billing portion of the facility. They failed to verify what my insurance would cover. My insurance only covers anesthesia if it is 3 teeth or more. I only had 1 pulled. So now I am being billed $300 for their failure! I feel thats a little unfair.

I went in for my first time at finegolds office and made an appt with finegold to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I'm and a very anxious person. When I was called back mark Kao was the one who came in to do the procedure. First red flag.He looked in my mouth and asked if I wanted all 3 wisdom teeth when infact I had 4 that needed removed. Second red flag. Then he sadated me and did the procedure. I was sent home. Two weeks later I went back because a bone fragment was left stabbing my gum. He told me to just put gum there and let it heal. Come back in a week if it still persists. Third red flag....lastly I go back with same problem and he numbs my mouth so hard and fast that I was crying and squirming in my chair. He put in goze to let numbness occur and when removed it was full of blood. He was rough and not sympathetic of my well-being. I will never go back and do not recommed him to anyone. And lastly their billing dept sucks. They don't have their stuff straight.

I took my daughter to have her wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Finegold was warm and friendly to my very anxious teenager. She called in the evening when my daughter had a question. Her office in Selma is new and modern. I went out of our city because her office took our insurance plan, and I would incure less out of pocket expense. I would recommend her to all patients in the surrounding area. We live in Visalia, and we're happy we chose her office.

I had two wisdom teeth pulled and didn't have insurance. Dr. Finegold's office is the lowest price in the area. Anethistics were extra cost (and necessary for me). The office waiting room is virtually non-existent two chairs in a closet sized area.
