* Last year, my wife had a retainer made at their offices. Before it was ordered, the office ensured her that it was covered, but later billed us when insurance didn't cover it completely (I forget the reasons why). Office had me pay the balance on one of my visits without telling me the details. Later, we called the office, were told they'd get back to us about the situation but never did.
* I had deep cleaning done at the office. Before doing so, again the office supposedly checked with Delta Dental and said it was covered. Later, same story, we got stuck with a bill for over $600. The office refused to take responsibility for the errors.
* We asked for a payment plan to help pay the bill. I was thinking this plan would be between me and the office but the office applied for and got opened a CareCredit account in my name. This was done without me knowing as the person at the office only talked to my wife on the phone and I never signed anything that would request new credit. Very reckless actions that affected my credit score when we were in the process of getting a home loan approved.
So based on these experiences, we've come to the conclusion the office is unprofessional and unethical.
