Dr. Gudapati is very professional on the outside, but his lack of experience caused him to mis-diagnose a dangerous infection our child had following a procedure in his office. Dr. Gudapati said that the extremely swollen lip was normal reaction to our child biting the lip while it was numb. We explained that he had been running a fever for 24 hours and the lip kept getting larger, and our concern that it looked infected. He sent us home with a prescription for a baby level dose of antibiotic for a 9 year old and sent us home. That night our child's lip exploded and puss filled his mouth and covered the pillow. Our pediatrician prescribed an antibiotic stong enough to fight a possible staff infection as well as a lip cream to help avoid complications. Needless to say, we feel this dentist is dangerous and won't return.
