Another dentist filled some teeth badly, and I ended up with 2 root canals. Friends recommended Dr. Carr. He is extraordinary: up-to-date on dental techniques, helped me reduce my gag reaction, listened and did not give me numbing stuff that made me feel like I couldn't breath, and always has a smile, a couple of good jokes, and kind words. He's a gem. Don't really know about comparative costs. My insurance pays fairly well.

About Hygienist: Deanna, Great technique. My teeth have been doing well under her care. Also, she has small hands, so it's not so uncomfortable for her to clean my teeth.
