Receptionists miscommunicated and poor experience. Very bad experience overall. I would not recommend McGuire Endodontics to anyone.

Excellent work using the best of equipment. Extremely considerate of patients' anxieties and concerns. Discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. Staff is professional, expert, and unsurpassed. As a veteran of much root canal work I speak from experience. It isn't always that good.

Amazing..Dr. Mcguire is a miracle worker. I have severe PTSD, and a high tolerance to any medicine like injtions to numb or any pain killer. It takes usually 8-12 injections, of which each only last about 20 min long. I was sent to Dr Mcguire for a difficult root canal under a temp bridge, I had no pain , and very little memory of the whole procedure. Im a difficult paitent to say the least, but

First of all, as everyone is saying - getting any dental work is scary. Mention a root canal and people freak out, I know because I did. The parking was a little confusing but when you put your common sense to work, it's not too bad. If you park in the parking garage behind the office you grab a ticket and take it inside with you, they will validate the parking ticket and i'm not sure if it makes it cheaper or free. I didn't have any cash on me so I parked in the parking garage next door (free). Got to the office, filled out my paperwork (which can be done before hand.) And was called back within 5 minutes. Rebecca was the assistant that was helping with my procedure and she was FANTASTIC! We talked and that alone helped me relax, she then set up my iPod with her surround sound headphones, when the doctor came in he was so nice and joking with me which put me even more at ease. You have the option for Nitric Oxide, which just helps you relax even more! Dr. McGuire numbs you up, waits a little bit and then gets to work. You can still hear the drilling but not as much if you didn't have the headphones. I fell asleep during my procedure, which i couldn't believe! I would recommend this team, hands down! They are amazing!

When I told my son I dreaded a root canal, he said, "you need to go my guy" and I did. His guy turned out to be Dr. Dickson McGuire. What a wonderful experience, excellent care, great work, painless as possible, caring staff, now he is "my guy also" and you should go to "my guy".

I had a somewhat complicated root canal, and the state of the art technology, expertise and competence of the entire office was far beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Dr. McGuire and I was in the dental profession many decades ago. Suzanne M

Dr. McGuire is the best in the Austin area for root canals. Also, has the best screen savers on the overhead computers.

I never had a root canal until a couple of months ago and always heard that they were very bad experiences. Dr. Mcguire and his staff made me a beliver again in having to get my teeth worked on. If you like gadgets it is cool to see someone using the very latest in the business. I am actually planning on getting more dental work done and knowing that Dr. Mcguire is there is very comforting.

Dr. Mcguire is hands down the best endodontist I have had. He fixed a botched root canal from another endodontist and did so without any pain or discomfort. I highly recommend him. He also has done work for my mother and brother and both give him high marks.
